How’s this for comfort food? Pizza meets pasta (without the gluten!) in this dish that’s certain to satisfy the whole family.

One 8-ounce box of chickpea pasta
1 pound sweet Italian sausage
½ cup chopped pepperoni
1 cup marinara sauce
One 6-ounce bag shredded Parmesan cheese
One 8-ounce bag shredded mozzarella cheese
2 teaspoons oregano or Italian seasoning
Extra shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese for topping
Cook pasta according to directions on the box, and set aside.
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage (casings removed and crumbled) until done, and then drain excess oil.
Heat oven to 375°F.
In a large bowl, mix pasta, sausage, pepperoni, marinara, ½ cup Parmesan, ¾ cup mozzarella and seasoning. Coat a casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray, and spread the mixture evenly in the dish.
Top with the remaining Parmesan and mozzarella, and bake for 30 minutes.
