Christmas Ornament Cookies

makes 24 cookies

1 package (16 ounces) vanilla or white chocolate almond bark

2 packages Double Stuff Oreo Cookies

Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

Assorted toppings: mini sugar pearls; mini M&M’s; holiday sprinkles/crystals

Lay parchment paper across countertop. Melt bark according to package directions. Using small tongs or a fork, gently dip cookie into the melted bark, carefully allowing the excess chocolate to drip off. Gently tap against the side of the bowl as needed to remove excess chocolate, and place on parchment paper. Immediately attach a Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup to the top of the cookie. Decorate with toppings. Repeat with all cookies. Allow to harden until ready to serve or package.

Merry Mint Brownies

makes 24 brownies

½ block cream cheese (4 ounces), softened

½ stick butter, melted

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon peppermint extract

2½ cups powdered sugar

2 dozen bite-size brownies (either premade or homemade in mini muffin tin)

1 bag of Hershey’s Candy Cane Kisses

To make icing, mix first five ingredients together with a beater until reaching desired consistency.

Spoon icing into a plastic zippered storage bag, and seal. Cut a small corner off of bottom, and pipe icing on top of each brownie bite. Top each with a mint Hershey’s Kiss.
