Basil Limeade

This refreshing and tart summery drink is sure to quench your thirst on a hot afternoon.

Recipe by Lauren McElwain

  • Juice of 9 limes

  • 5 cups water

  • 1½ cups sugar

  • 3-4 fresh basil leaves

Mix first 3 ingredients together in a decorative pitcher. Chop basil leaves, and muddle into the limeade. Serve over ice.
